Setting up the software image
The software image included in this PoT, requires:
1. We suggest you use VMware workstation; this was not tested with VMware player version. See
download details below.
2. VMware Image dated 28-Jun-2011 – Minimum VMware Workstation version is 7.0.
3. Enable your workstation to run a 64bit VM (even if you have a 64bit OS)
1. VT must be enabled in the host system BIOS. The feature may be named VT, Vanderpool
Technology, Virtualization Technology, VMX, or Virtual Machine Extensions.
2. To power on the VMWare image, users must enable hardware virtualization in your computer’s
BIOS. Instructions for Microsoft Windows on the ThinkPad follow:
1. Press the blue ThinkVantage key when prompted at startup
2. Press the F1 key to enter the BIOS setup utility
3. Using the arrow keys, scroll to Config and press the Enter key
4. Scroll to CPU and press the Enter Key
5. Scroll to Intel Virtualization Technology and press the Enter key
6. Select Enabled and depress the Enter key, press Enter key to continue
7. Press F10 key to save and exit
8. Select Yes and press the Enter key
9. Full shutdown (power off), wait a few seconds, and restart your computer (NOTE – if F10
caused a reboot, that was a soft reboot. Do a full shutdown in order for the saved setting to be
recognized.)
3. After enabling VT in your system BIOS, save your changes and then turn off power to the system.
If you simply reboot the system without turning it off, VT is not enabled.

take a while (few hours). Be patient.
2. All Files can be downloaded into the same temporary directory.
